What is the difference between interior decoration and interior design?

Interior decoration focuses on the finishes and furnishings that make a room: color, furniture, lighting, window treatments, textiles, art and accessories. We do not move walls or produce construction drawings. When a project needs a contractor, electrician or painter, we coordinate trusted local trades for you.

How much does an interior decoration project cost?

Every home is different, so we quote after the first consultation. You receive an itemized proposal covering our design fee and an estimated budget for furnishings, and nothing is ordered until you approve it.

Do I have to replace all of my furniture?

Not at all. We enjoy working with pieces you already own and will tell you honestly what is worth keeping, refinishing or reupholstering.

How long does a typical project take?

A single room usually takes four to eight weeks from first visit to installation, depending mostly on furniture lead times. Color consultations and styling days can often be scheduled within two weeks.

Which areas do you serve?

We are based in Old Town and regularly work in Cross City, Chiefland, Fanning Springs, Trenton, Bell, Branford, Steinhatchee, Cedar Key, Gainesville and Lake City. Projects further afield are welcome, just ask.

Can you help with vacation rentals and homes for sale?

Yes. We refresh rentals with durable, photogenic furnishings and stage homes for sale using your own pieces plus rented accents where needed.

What should I prepare for the first consultation?

Nothing formal. It helps to gather photos of rooms you love, note anything you want to keep and think about a comfortable budget range. We take care of the measurements.

How do I get started?

Send a message through our contact form or call the studio. We reply within two business days to arrange a convenient time for your in-home consultation.
