This Cookie Policy explains how SROB LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. In short, we use as few as possible: one strictly necessary cookie, on the contact pages only, and nothing that tracks you.
It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.
Cookies at a glance
- This website sets one first-party session cookie, and only when you visit the contact pages.
- It protects our contact form from forgery and shows you messages after you submit it.
- It is deleted when you close your browser.
- We use no analytics, advertising, social media or other tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store on your device. On later visits or page views, your browser sends the cookie back, which lets the website recognize the same browser. Cookies can be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party" cookies) or by other companies whose content appears on that website ("third-party" cookies).
Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser ("session" cookies), while others remain for a set period ("persistent" cookies). Similar technologies include local storage, tracking pixels and device fingerprinting.
2. The cookie we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
srob_session |
First-party, strictly necessary | Holds a random identifier that links your browser to a short-lived session on our server. This lets us check that a form submission really came from our contact page, and show you any corrections needed or a confirmation after you send it. | Session: deleted when you close your browser |
The cookie is set when you open the contact page, send the contact form or view the confirmation page. No other page sets it. It is marked HttpOnly, so scripts cannot read it, and SameSite=Lax, so other websites cannot use it to submit forms on your behalf. On secure (HTTPS) connections it is also marked Secure, so it is only ever sent over an encrypted connection.
3. What the session stores
The cookie itself contains only a random identifier, never your name, email address or any other personal details. On our server, the matching session holds:
- A random security token used to verify that form submissions are genuine.
- If your form needs correcting, the details you entered and the messages explaining what to fix, kept only until the form is shown back to you.
- A note that your message was sent, so we can show the confirmation page.
Session data is removed from our server automatically after a short period of inactivity, usually within about half an hour.
4. Cookies we do not use
- No analytics cookies, such as Google Analytics or similar visitor statistics tools.
- No advertising, retargeting or conversion-tracking cookies.
- No social media cookies, share buttons or embedded feeds.
- No embedded videos or maps that set cookies on page load.
- No cookies from font or content delivery services. All fonts, images, styles and scripts are served from our own website.
5. Other technologies
We do not use local storage, session storage, tracking pixels, web beacons, browser fingerprinting or session recording on this website.
Like all web servers, ours keeps standard access logs recording your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs are not cookies and are not stored on your device. They are used for security and troubleshooting, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Third-party websites
Some links on our website take you to services run by other companies, such as Google Maps for directions or our social media profiles. Those websites may set their own cookies once you arrive there, under their own cookie and privacy policies. We have no access to or control over those cookies.
7. Why there is no cookie banner
Privacy rules generally allow websites to set cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service the visitor has requested without asking for consent first. Our only cookie falls into that category: it is needed for the contact form to work securely, and it is not used for any other purpose. Because we set no optional cookies, there is nothing to accept or reject, so we do not show a cookie banner.
8. How to control cookies
You can view, block and delete cookies in your browser settings. These guides explain how for the most common browsers:
If you block our session cookie, every page of the website will still work, but the contact form will not be able to accept your message. In that case, please call us on (305) 563-6977 or email hello@srobllc.com instead.
9. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because we do not track visitors or use cookies for advertising, browser signals such as "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control do not change how this website behaves. We honor them as a request not to sell or share your personal information, which we never do.
10. Changes to this policy
If we ever add a new cookie or similar technology, we will update this policy before it is used, describe what it does, and ask for your consent first where the law requires it. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the policy last changed.
