Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information SROB LLC collects through this website and while working with clients, how we use and protect that information, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
It applies to https://srobllc.com (the "website") and to information you give us by phone, email or in person when you ask about or use our interior decoration services. It does not apply to other websites we link to, which have their own policies.
Privacy at a glance
- We collect only the information you choose to send us, plus standard technical data that our web server records.
- We use it to reply to you and, if you hire us, to plan and deliver your project.
- We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising, and this website uses no analytics or tracking tools.
- We never publish photographs of your home without your written permission.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing hello@srobllc.com.
1. Who we are
SROB LLC is a Florida limited liability company that provides interior decoration services. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean SROB LLC, and "you" means any visitor to the website or anyone who contacts us or becomes our client.
We are responsible for deciding how and why the personal information described here is used. You can reach us about privacy matters using the details in the "Contact us" section at the end of this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us through the website
When you send our contact form, we receive:
- Contact details: your name and email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number and town or city.
- Project details: the service you are interested in, your estimated budget range and anything you write in your message.
Only your name, email address and message are required. Please do not include sensitive information such as financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, health information or passwords in the form.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: like almost every website, our hosting provider records your IP address, the date and time of each request, the page requested, the referring page and your browser and device type. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting.
- Form security data: when you send the contact form we record the date, time and IP address of the submission. To stop automated spam, we also keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for up to one hour so we can limit repeated submissions.
- One session cookie: set only on the contact pages to protect the form from forgery. Our Cookie Policy explains it in full.
We do not use analytics services, advertising pixels, social media plugins, session recording, browser fingerprinting or any other tracking technology. Fonts and images are served from our own website, so loading a page does not send your information to Google or other third parties.
Information we collect when you become a client
If you engage us, we collect additional information needed to deliver your project, usually under a written agreement:
- The address of the property, access arrangements for consultations, deliveries and installation, and the names of anyone who will meet us there.
- Measurements, floor plans, photographs and notes about your rooms, furniture, preferences and budget.
- Billing details and payment records. Card and bank payments are handled by the payment provider named in your agreement, and we do not store full card numbers.
- Correspondence about your project, including messages with suppliers and tradespeople acting on your behalf.
Information from other sources
If a real estate agent, property manager, builder or existing client refers you to us, they may give us your name and contact details. We use that information only to respond to the referral.
3. How we use your information
| Purpose | Information used |
|---|---|
| Replying to your inquiry and arranging a consultation | Contact details and project details |
| Preparing proposals and delivering your project | Client information, photographs, measurements and preferences |
| Ordering products and coordinating deliveries, installers and trades | Name, property address, phone number and product selections |
| Invoicing, accounting, tax and warranty records | Billing details and project records |
| Keeping the website secure and preventing spam and abuse | Server logs, hashed IP address and the session cookie |
| Showing our work in our portfolio or on social media | Photographs of finished rooms, only with your written permission |
| Meeting legal obligations and protecting our rights | Any information relevant to the matter |
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we do not use any sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
4. Photographs of your home
Photographs are an essential part of our work. During consultations we photograph and measure your rooms to plan your design. These images stay within SROB LLC and are shared only with the suppliers and tradespeople who need them for your project.
When a project is finished, we may ask whether we can photograph it for our portfolio, website or social media. We will only publish photographs with your written permission. We will not identify you or your address unless you agree, and we will exclude or remove personal items such as family photographs, documents, artwork you ask us to omit, and house numbers.
You can withdraw your permission for future use at any time. We will then remove the images from our website and the social media accounts we control within a reasonable time, although we cannot recall printed materials already distributed.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only in these situations:
- Service providers who host our website and email, store files, keep our accounts or process payments for us. They may use the information only to provide their services to us and must keep it confidential.
- Suppliers and tradespeople working on your project, such as furniture and fabric suppliers, delivery companies, installers and painters. They receive only what they need, for example your name, delivery address and phone number.
- Professional advisers such as our accountants, insurers and lawyers, where necessary.
- Legal and safety reasons when required by law, subpoena or court order, or when needed to protect the rights, property or safety of SROB LLC, our clients or others.
- Business transfers if SROB LLC is involved in a merger, sale or reorganization, in which case the successor must continue to protect your information as described in this policy.
- With your consent in any other situation, only when you ask us to or agree.
6. How long we keep information
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Website inquiries that do not become projects | Up to two years after our last contact with you |
| Client contracts, invoices and project records | As long as required for tax, accounting and warranty purposes, normally seven years after the project ends |
| Project photographs and measurements | For the project and the record-keeping period above; portfolio photographs only while your permission stands |
| Web server logs | Usually up to 30 days, as set by our hosting provider |
| Hashed IP address used for spam prevention | One hour |
| Session cookie and the data linked to it | Until you close your browser; removed from our server shortly afterward |
When information is no longer needed, we delete it securely or remove anything that identifies you.
7. How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to a business of our size, including:
- Encrypted (HTTPS) connections between your browser and our website.
- Storing form submissions in a protected area of our server that cannot be reached from the internet.
- Strict browser security settings that block content from untrusted sources.
- Limiting access to personal information to the people who need it to do their work.
- Strong passwords, two-factor authentication where available, and keeping our software up to date.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you, and the Florida Department of Legal Affairs where required, in line with the Florida Information Protection Act (section 501.171, Florida Statutes).
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under state privacy laws such as the Florida Digital Bill of Rights or the California Consumer Privacy Act. Many of these laws apply only to much larger businesses, but we believe everyone should be in control of their information, so we offer the following rights to all visitors and clients:
- Access: ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Correction: ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your information, except records we must keep by law or to complete a contract with you.
- Portability: receive the information you gave us in a common electronic format.
- Withdrawing consent: for example, to portfolio photographs or marketing emails.
- Fair treatment: we will never charge you more or treat you differently for using these rights.
How to make a request
- Email hello@srobllc.com, call (305) 563-6977 or write to us at the address below, telling us which right you want to use.
- We will confirm your identity by matching details you have already given us. We will not ask for more information than we need.
- We will respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and may extend this by a further 45 days.
You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf if you give them written permission. If we decline a request, we will explain why, and you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response.
Marketing emails
We send newsletters or promotions only if you opt in. Every marketing email includes a link to unsubscribe. Even after you unsubscribe, we may still contact you about an open inquiry or a project you have with us.
Phone calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, we use it only to discuss your inquiry or project. We do not make automated marketing calls or send marketing text messages. If you would prefer we contact you by email only, just let us know.
9. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because we do not track visitors across websites, and we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing for a "Do Not Track" signal to switch off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, which we already do not do.
10. Third-party websites and services
Our website links to services we do not control, including Google Maps for directions and, where shown, our profiles on social networks. When you follow those links, the companies that run them collect information under their own privacy policies. Telephone and email links open the apps on your own device, and your provider's terms apply to those calls and messages.
11. Children's privacy
This website and our services are intended for adults arranging work on their homes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
12. Visitors outside the United States
We are based in Florida and serve clients in the United States. Information you send us is stored and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using the website you understand that your information will be handled in the United States in line with this policy.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices change or when the law requires it. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. If we make a significant change, we will highlight it on this page and, where we have your email address and the change affects you, let you know directly.
